The Boise & Interurban Railway completed a Loop, running from Boise to Caldwell to the north of the Boise River (1906-1928), and from Boise to Nampa to Caldwell, to the south of river.
The completion of the Loop, provided greater access to travel throughout the Treasure Valley, from 1912-1928, during an era many did not own cars and the roads were in fairly rough condition.
