SS Nampa Victory Ship
Description
The U.S. Maritime Commission during World War II built 534 Victory Ships. They were 455 ft. long and 62 ft. wide, and typically were armed with One 5-inch stern gun; One 3-inch bow gun; and Eight 20 mm machine guns.
The Nampa Victory was built in 1944 by the Oregon Shipbuilding Company and was classified as an AK Cargo Ship.
