In 1913, Eugene Emerson with Rev. M. E. Ferdinand decided to build a church which was dedicated in December as the Chapel shown here, at 15th Avenue and Sixth Street South.
Northwest Nazarene College started in the fall of 1915, but the administration building was not completed, so students met in the chapel.
