Description

A. C. Lillard purchased a homestead on the north side of Nampa in 1885, while working in the railroad shop in Shoshone. He took the train to work the homestead on the weekend. In 1886, he moved to Nampa permanently. At that time, he and his wife Elizabeth (Rockwell) had the only house on the north side of Nampa.
