Lela and Charles describe Nampa’s development over time, commenting on various local businesses and industries, as well as the development of roads and the Interurban railroad. They recall the Depression years, during which Charles was briefly out of work. They discuss changes in Nampa’s local government over time, mentioning the City Hall and a Nazarene mayor who restricted local entertainment.
