Description
Dr. H. Orton Wiley, the first president of Northwest Nazarene College envisioned a nursing school. This vision became the Samaritan Hospital and Nursing School which opened in 1926. It was located on Dewey Street.
The building now houses Fine Art's department at Northwest Nazarene University that is located across the street from what used to be Kurtz Park.
